Santos Torres

Santos Torres was honored last week as WCF's Hispanic Father of the Year. He is quite a man and quite a father. He is the father of 7 kids, he works two jobs, one full-time and one part-time job to support his family. His last son was born premature weighing only 2.5 pounds at birth. Both his wife and son were in the hospital for quite a while and Santos had to pick up the pieces. He managed to get a third job to cover some of the medical expenses. He would work all day, visit his wife and son before going to his part-time job, then go to his part-time job only to return home and put his kids to bed before getting ready for his night job. He would come home sleep for a few hours and get up and get the kids ready for school. He is a great example of the sacrifices that sometimes we have to make in order to take care of our families. He is a perfect example of a great father.
